# Contributing to this scaffold project

All contributions are welcome in the form of a PR or issue at <https://github.com/Lambda-School-Labs/labs-api-starter>.

## ESLint and prettier

[ESLint](https://eslint.org/) and [prettier](https://prettier.io/) are already configured with Lambda Labs standards and ready to go. These must be ran from the CLI prior to commiting code in the following ways:

* `npm run lint` to view all purposed fixes.
* `npm run lint:fix` to apply fixes to eslint issues.
* `npm run format` to apply the standards defined by eslint/prettier config.

Alternatively you can install plugins for your editor of choice.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://bryan-guner.gitbook.io/my-docs/lambda-labs/docs/project-docs/contributing-to-this-scaffold-project.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
